Heather Vreeland is a wife, mom, and media entrepreneur.
Officially, she’s the Founder and Creative Director of Occasions Media Group and a graduate of Flagler College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
As a natural marketer and self-taught graphic designer, her expertise has evolved in a “grass-roots meets trial by fire” kind of way. Having no prior experience in publishing, but always living by the mantra what- ever the mind can conceive it can achieve, she channeled her resources and googled her way into the in- dustry in 2008 and created an editorial resource for Atlantans planning events called Occasions Magazine. Her gumption and love of life’s many celebrations has catapulted Occasions into what is now known as The Celebration Society, one of the most well respect wedding and special event medias in the Southeast. In 2014, Occasions Media Group introduced their second title, St. Augustine Social to resounding applause as the local city lifestyle magazine for the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine, FL.
Heather became a mother on Christmas Eve 2013 and since then world of children’s book publishing brought a certain appeal her creativity couldn’t resist. In 2017 she wrote her first children’s book ‘My Ready for Bed Routine’ and Occasions Media Group launched Littleature, a children’s book imprint to grow a new division of their company. Her second children’s book, ‘Dogs Do Too’ to be released in 2020.
Her most pivotal project to date launched in late 2018, Hopefuel – a line of workbooks, planners and agen- das designed to ignite hope. Hopefuel’s flagship product is the Hope Planner, a six-month, undated Chris- tian daily planner created by Heather to fulfill a personal desire to make a conscious effort to read the bible daily. The Hope Planner will be available for the Christian woman worldwide to help them make time for scripture study and prayer among her daily tasks and schedule in August 2018.
Ultimately Heather is a deep-thinker and problem solver, who has leaned into the direction of her gut instincts to develop products, grow her business and maintain the “harmony” between her family life and creative ambitions.
Heather and her husband Andrew, and son Asher live in St. Augustine, FL.
